- We ALWAYS use SOME with AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCES Ex: I have some milk on the fridge There are some letters for you	-We ALWAYS use ANY with INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES Ex: Are there any letters for me? Have you got any bottle of water? - We ALWAYS use ANY with NEGATIVE SENTENCES Ex: I haven't got any letter for you There isn't any bottle of water.
- We use SOME with INTERROGATIVE sentences ONLY when we know that the answer is YES Ex: Would you like some tea? May I have some more coffee please?

HOW MUCH / HOW MANY

- We ALWAYS use HOW MUCH with UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS Ex: How much is it? How much tea do you drink in the morning?	- We ALWAYS use HOW MANY with COUNTABLE NOUNS Ex: How many apple are there in the fruit bowl?
